West Coast Karate Competition & Tournament Team

West Coast Karate tournament team athletes and coaches posing together in blue team jackets and karate uniforms at their dojo in Lutz, Florida.

The West Coast Karate Tournament Team welcomes athletes ages 5 and up, offering opportunities for students of all experience levels to develop their skills, build confidence, and challenge themselves through competitive karate.

Our athletes compete in local, regional, national, and international tournaments, including events hosted by AAU, WUKF, WUIKA, and the International School Sport Federation (ISF).

West Coast Karate is proud to have developed multiple world champions, with athletes earning titles and medals at international competitions in Scotland, Serbia, Mexico, Sweden, and Romania. Our accomplishments include an ISF gold medalist from the 2025 Gymnasiade in Zlatibor, Serbia.

Led by experienced international coaches, including Sensei Jimmy, who has coached USA athletes at international competitions in Sweden, Panama, and Serbia, our tournament program emphasizes sportsmanship, discipline, perseverance, and continuous improvement.

At West Coast Karate in Lutz, Florida, we believe competitive success begins with dedication, strong fundamentals, and a commitment to personal growth.
